這個故事，去年Mackenzie聖誕特輯中就吊足了胃口，等了這麽久，終於看到了，只能遺憾地說：太短了，不夠過癮啊！
Lloyd Fellows從系列第一本《我為卿狂》開始就有露面，好幾本書都有出場，終於輪到他做主角了，故事卻很老套，無非是兩人火花四濺，但是因為Lloyd Fellows不是正牌麥家人，只是個不被法律承認的私生子，不算貴族，警察在當時不是什麽高尚的職業，所以他自卑，覺得配不上Louisa Scranton，兩人就在這種“吸引” →“抗拒” →“吸引”的輪回中不停折騰，中間夾雜著破案(Louisa受人陷害，有殺人的嫌疑， Lloyd要幫她洗去嫌疑把真兇抓到)，做為一個短篇，故事真的有點匆忙，雖然應該交代的都有交代，看完仍覺得意猶未盡。還是給四葉吧，給三葉實在下不了手。
