Heather dreaded seeing Kyle Bennett again

相較另一本繼兄妹的書Permission to Love，我更加喜歡這本，劇情我先引用漫畫版的
這種女主角討厭繼兄想辦法趕走他的劇情很多作家都有寫過，每個作家的寫作手法各有其特點，我本來以為PJ筆下的男主角會在女主角請求他的時候虐女主的(迷之音:你是有多M)，結果男主角相當的好，不但對女主角很友善，急於修復和女主角的關係，對養父養母也很關愛並支付手術費，害我心裡的期待落空。
書裡大部分都是女主在糾結，糾結年少時期對男主角的嫉妒、迷戀、自我否定。男主角偶爾會嘲諷一下女主角但還是看得出相當喜愛保護女主角的，看完後有療癒感。
