本系列最喜歡的一本，劇情開始帶入Inferno Club的秘密但還不會太多，男主角很美味，身強體壯如古代的戰士還
天賦異稟，故事一開始女主角被綁架獻給男主角，男主角因身分特殊怕有陰謀詭計，雖然女主角一直表明身分但男主角還是不敢隨便放女主角走，就帶著女主角趴趴走，書的中段開始進入陰謀，但我覺得有點無聊，所以只給這本書四星。當初看得很快加上看太久很多劇情都忘了，這本是我會想重讀的書，先推薦若重讀再補劇情。

寫完評論當晚就忍不住重讀了
，可見我多愛這本書。其實這系列我也沒有全部看完，只看了#1.0#2.0#4.0#6.0，其他本因為寡婦不能和非處不能就沒追了。
書的架構就是很簡單的背負重大責任和陰暗家族秘密而不敢去愛的公爵，被敵對身分的女主角救贖的故事，只不過作者把它寫得很龐大。
男主角的祖先一直和普羅米修斯對抗，普羅米修斯的先人詛咒歷代公爵夫人會因公爵而死，加上男主角一直生活在危險與邪惡中，所以一直不願意和女性發展長久的關係。
女主角的祖父是普羅米修斯的要人，女主角被當地居們綁架獻給男主角，但是女主角卻因為父親的保護與刻意隱瞞而不知道自己的身世。
全書唯圍繞在解開女主角為何被綁架，女主角爸爸的生死之謎還有普羅米修斯寶藏的秘密。
其實這本書我已經陸續重讀過幾次了，但是常常跳讀，尤其是Inferno Club那一連串的人物登場讓我很頭痛，還有最後的尋寶真的很像古墓奇兵也讓我很出戲，還有我也很討厭看女主角用愛救贖男主角的故事類型，用愛救贖有很多種，這種男主角狠心拒絕女主角是我最不喜歡的，看得我都哭了，基於以上幾點所以我小扣了一分。
