我是因為喜歡瓊恩.赫爾才找這本書來看的，沒想到我衣看就知道我以前看過這小說。
男主角是從一百年前的蒙大拿州掉到現代的賓州，他是個執刑軍官，聖誕夜被記恨的人追殺，射了他一槍。他倒在教堂前面，跟上帝祈禱，給他再一次機會，去擁有一個妻子跟未來的孩子。於是他就被現代的醫生女主角給救了。
當然穿越時空的題材不外乎他會被現代設備給嚇死，又是一段適應的日子。
其實劇情我們都猜得到，但是閱讀起故事來，還是頗為愉悅。
