這位作家住在阿拉斯加，這本小說好像是她的第一本書，在Itune 找免費書時無意看到的，因為當時評價四星半，我就下載了，因為免費，我會給五葉，如果要收費，大概是四星半，因為我實在受不了女主角過度的思考，如果她讓她的心來引導她，故事應該就改寫了，但改寫了可能就不好看了！
故事一開始是電視節目製作人Miranda的角度開始的，但她不是女主角，她回老家跟好友Lou見面，Lou為了喪妻的好友Jack照顧兩個稚齡的孩子，四個人在外人看來是一家人，但是Jack對Lou完全只有朋友的情誼，而Lou暗戀Jack許久，卻從不表白，甚至對好友都死命否認。Miranda是實境節目Marrying Mister Perfect 的製作人，一方面是需要下一季的男主角，二方面想點燃Lou跟Jack的火花，極力慫恿下，男主角答應參加該實境秀。實際上Jack並沒有意思要找妻子，但是為了放手讓Lou回到她原本應該完成的夢想，促使Lou脫離兩個孩子的牽絆，才答應參與這個前後八週的實境秀。
簡單介紹一下這個實境秀，基本就是一個男主角，然後會找二十個女性參與競逐，到最後決定男主角要選擇哪位是他的最佳女主角。整個故事就圍繞著這個節目展開。
Lou壓根是沒有參加這個節目啊，兩個人要怎麼走在一起呢？這部分我就不爆雷了，
男主角算是豬頭，一直沒體會到自己對女主角的依賴其實就是愛情，但當他知道之後，就一心向著女主角了。可是女主角卻越來越退縮，甚至決定要搬離男主角的家，情緒完全沈浸在自憐跟悲哀中，這部分我看的很想敲醒女主角。
這本書中我很喜歡男主角在後段跟女主角說的一段話「我要問你一個問題，我希望你的回答不要是因爲你覺得這對我是最好的決定，而是你自己的心決定的。」。這算是這本書中我覺得第二浪漫的話了。
結局當然是好的，但中間有趣的糾結，跟可惡的Miranda幹了些什麼好事，就請各位自己看了。
這本書很老派，甚至實境秀這個主題其實也是幾年前流行的，但是種種橋段還挺好玩的，看起來很輕鬆，尤其所用的英文算相當淺顯，很適合閱讀唷！
這書目前Itune 跟Kindle 都還是免費的，可以下載來看看。
這本是這位作者五本實境秀的第一本，我還挺有興趣繼續閱讀，不過手邊免費書還有十多本，先看完再繼續了。
