百大羅曼史排行 - 出自The Romance Reader - 2000年

數個月前，當我開心的對黛比建議選出20世紀百大羅曼史排行時，我對於這個提議一點自覺也沒有。要完成百大羅曼史排行榜，除了The Romance Reader的讀者，還有誰更有資格呢？
當然，當我提出這個見議後，我還以為我已經達成使命了。不過我想我終於完成這個任務。(你絕對想不到我有多害怕收到又是一封讀者轉寄來的清單！) 數百位讀者寄來他們認為應該要包括在百大羅曼史排行中的20本書單，這些書單證明了讀者喜愛的羅曼史種類與口味包羅萬象，總共有超過500個作家、超過1500本書被讀者提名。
下面是得到最多的選票的書。因為部份書籍得票相同，所以實際上有109本書。最後進入排行的書是最令人印像深刻的。它包括了世界名著─傲慢與偏見和飄，幾位先進作家如Georgette Heyer 和Roberta Gellis，創新的小說如意外的情人(The Flame and the Flower)、狂野的愛(Sweet, Savage Love)、吻了五個世紀(Knight in Shining Armor)與Outlander。明星作家如諾拉‧羅伯特、茱麗‧嘉伍德、琳達‧霍華、茱迪‧麥娜都獲得激賞。新進作家如Jennifer Crusie、Dara Joy、Stephanie Laurens也均榜上有名。
