歐班揚阿姨少見的貧窮男主角的設定，通常男主角太窮我是不會看的，不過這本還滿好看的。
女主角被綁架，未婚夫因行動不便故請男主角幫忙救出女主角，男主角在相處過程中愛上女主角，但礙於是好朋友的未婚妻，女主角家世太好，故愛在心裡口難開，後來女主角勇敢追愛，終獲美滿良緣。
喜歡女主角雖然是富家千金卻不驕縱，男主角人窮志不窮，是個漢子，對女主角也用生命保護著，也沒有歐班揚阿姨最常寫的男女主角互相傷害的劇情，五星推薦。
